That is great my son loves trains. We got him on for christmas that has the real smoke and he loves it. Everytime he sees a train he thinks he has to have it.

I have a friend back home who gets himself so stressed out so easily. He spends every day rushing about in a big hurry to get everything done. Even things like a family party or a coffee with a friend get put into a schedule like a chore he has to do. I often asked him and myself what he was racing towards. When the nicest little things in life become things that you hurry through just to get them over with what meaning does your life hold? You go home at night, tuck yourself into bed and think "I got through everything I meant to do today". But did you really experience anything? Or did you just fumble blindly through? When you think about it, my friend was so busy trying to get everything done, he had forgottenwhy he was doing it.

I love the way you use your diary.Pictures always interest me, they can show you things that words can't express and give you a sneaky little insight into someone elses life. You're e-cards always go down a treat, as well.

 I certainly will. I'll either be going back for a couple of days before N.Z, but if not I'll definitely be back in August at some point (going to the Leeds festival, felt it'd be cheeky to be so near home and not drop in to say hi!)

right now, all I can share is spanish hills from when we went sailing on Thursday.

I enjoy lying on the grass and watching the clouds. There aren't many in Spain, but the clouds in Scotland are amazingly beautiful. I'll take some photos for you when I'm next there.

A lesson I'm glad I learnt quite early on. It was when I was quite young, I was sitting by the ocean and it comforted me to know that no matter how bad things could ever seem that the ocean would still be there, tide coming in and out without me the whole time. It was a very vague thought at this time, but as I've grown I've come to understand it more and more. I think we have to remember that human being are quite incredible - we can take a LOT of suffering, some of which can't be cured with ice-cream and the seaside... but imagine walking free from being tortured for days and days, and just feeling the sun you never thought you'd feel again... and the joy. We're an amazing bunch, really.

That's a view that I've held for a long time. When I've been feeling down recently, I've started making little lists of all the beautiful things I've noticed that day or that week or right at that very second... and it makes me realise that misery is only a temporary thing. If it weren't for that moment of misery I would never appreciate just how beautiful the world is, and I think that makes it all worthwhile. It's always the good times you remember.
When i was in Germany, I had some really bad times. But when I think of Germany, it's the bits where I was smiling that I remember, it's the way the trees looked at night, the way the wind felt as I cycled down the street, the smell of barbeques, the taste of crepes in the morning, and the sound of giggling in the middle of the night. It's that sort of thing we must cherish.

Have you considered maybe home daycare or getting a job that Craig can take you to in the morning and then pick you up after work so that you guys can catch up.  Any additional money coming in would benefit your situation.  I am sure it is stressful for Craig being the only income provider and that cannot be good for your growing relationship.  Financial problems can be very hurtful in a relationship and I would hate to see you guys arguing about money.  You could even deliver papers in the morning before he goes to work.  Just a thought.
